This page explains what information Syracuse Biomechanics ("we" or "us") collects, what we do with it and the choices you have. Syracuse Biomechanics is the movement training practice of Viktor Nikolovski, at 201 E Jefferson St, Suite 317, Syracuse, NY 13202. It covers this website, our ads and lead forms on Facebook and Instagram, and the calls, emails and texts that follow.
The short version
- You give us your contact details and goals when you fill in a form, book a session or get in touch.
- We use them to reply, arrange your consultation and coach you.
- We may follow up by call, email or text. Reply STOP to any text and we stop texting you.
- This website records how visitors use it, including session recordings, so we can improve it and measure our ads.
- When the Meta Pixel is active, visits to this website are shared with Meta for ad measurement and retargeting. You can opt out.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Information you give us
- Our contact form (run on Tally): your first and last name, phone number, email address and what you write about your goals.
- Our lead forms on Facebook and Instagram (run by Meta): your name, email address and phone number, which Meta can fill in from your account, and your answers about what you are most interested in, where you would train, when you would like to start, whether private payment works for you, and what you would love to be able to do.
- Our booking widget (run by Vagaro): the details you enter to book a session.
- Talking to us: what you tell us by phone, email or text, on Zoom, or in a consultation or coaching session.
Some of this can touch on your health, such as pain, an injury or scoliosis, or on your child's health if you are asking about them. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. We use it to answer you and to shape your training. We are a training practice, not a medical provider.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, these tools collect information about your visit:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads record the pages you view, actions such as starting a form or tapping our phone number, and whether a visit came from one of our ads. Google Ads uses this to measure our ads and can use it to show ads to people who have visited.
- Amplitude records similar activity, plus clicks, video plays and page errors. It also makes session recordings: a replay of how a visit went, such as where someone scrolled and clicked, which helps us see where the site is confusing or broken.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and Google Fonts supplies its lettering. Like any web service, both receive technical details such as your IP address and browser type.
These tools use cookies or similar technology and can see your IP address, device, browser and rough location. We also use your browser's own storage for small things, such as remembering that you have already seen a pop-up.
Meta Pixel. We may use the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta, on this website. When it is active, it shares your visits and actions here with Meta, along with cookie and device details and your IP address. We use that to measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited this website (known as retargeting). If you have a Meta account, Meta may be able to connect this activity to it. See Your choices for how to opt out.
Tally and Vagaro forms load from their own services, which handle what happens inside them.
How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry and arrange your consultation or session.
- To coach you and run our business with you as a client.
- To follow up about the consultation or training you asked about.
- To see how our website and ads perform, and improve them.
- To keep the records we need and to meet our legal obligations.
Calls, emails and texts
If you send us a form or a Facebook or Instagram lead form, we may call, email or text you at the details you gave us about your request. The first text and email can be sent automatically, right after you submit. Message and data rates may apply.
To stop texts, reply STOP to any text from us. To stop calls or emails, reply to any email from us or contact us using the details below.
We do not share your mobile number or your agreement to receive texts with anyone for their own marketing. We give your number only to the services that deliver our messages.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not give it to other businesses for their own marketing. We share it only with the services that help us work:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) shows our ads, holds your lead form answers and, when the Meta Pixel is active, receives information about your visits to this website. Meta's privacy policy
- Google provides analytics, ad measurement and fonts. Google's privacy policy
- Amplitude provides analytics and session recordings. Amplitude's privacy policy
- Tally runs our contact form. Tally's privacy policy
- Vagaro runs our booking. Vagaro's privacy policy
- Cloudflare hosts this website. Cloudflare's privacy policy
- Zoom runs our online sessions. Zoom's privacy statement
- Text and email services deliver our messages to you.
- Mechanix Digital, our marketing agency, manages our website and ads and can see the leads they bring in.
Meta and Google also handle information under their own policies, including for their advertising systems. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete your information, email viktor@syracusebiomechanics.com or call +1 (586) 531-0467 and tell us what you would like done. We will delete it from our records and the form and messaging tools we use, and tell you when that is done. We may need to confirm it is you first. We may keep what the law requires, such as payment and tax records, and a note not to contact you again if you have asked for that.
A copy of your lead form answers can also sit with Meta, under your own account. Meta's privacy policy explains how to ask them about it.
To limit tracking, block or clear cookies in your browser settings, use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, and change your ad settings in My Ad Center.
To opt out of Meta ads based on your visits here, open Accounts Center in your Facebook or Instagram settings, then use Ad Preferences to limit ads based on your activity on other websites. You can also block cookies in your browser, or use the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to answer you, coach you, and meet our legal and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner, as described above.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and we use established services to store it. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
We coach children and teens, and we arrange that with their parent or guardian. Our forms and ads are meant for adults, so children should not fill them in themselves. If you tell us about your child, we use those details only to answer you and to coach them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. If you think a child has sent us information without a parent's knowledge, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this page
If what we do with your information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
